surfing Denmark

This was what Denmark was like the other day. See God(do). And this could be me, but isn't.

Being on a wave - gliding upright on the surface of the water - is indescribable.

Huh... nice. I wonder if Tim Winton found the right words for surfing in his prize winning book, Breath.

I suspect surfing is like music...it has wings of its own that rise and fall. But that even these are invisible.

Just have to experience it.

Yes, I read 'Breath' and he does capture it in words really well. Also the ambivalent feelings that we have about the sea, even though we love surfing.

Thanks Simon. Nice pics. I really like the underawter ones. I have bought a small underwater camera myself but been too busy to get it out of the box! I am intending to take some 'abstract' shots if (and when) I can.
